[RP] The New Cult Empty
PostSubject: [RP] The New Cult   [RP] The New Cult EmptyFri Jul 04, 2008 3:42 pm

A man in dark chainmail armor walks trough the Plaguelands. At first sight, nothing seems wrong with him. However, as he seems to go deeper into the Plaguelands and the thick air filled with the plague, some dark spots on his face start revealing. Not a lot comes free though. He is of average height, well-built but not too much. He has a brown circlebeard and brown averagely long hair. It seems quite unwashed. He seems to be in a bit of a hurry, step by step with haste.

He arrives at a small chapel, the windows broken but covered with wood. The chapel's tower is broken off and lying near it. Some crows fly away as the man arrives. First he narrows his eyes a bit, and breathes in deeply before entering the chapel. Inside is a table. A completely black table, with in the middle a scale with a few stones in it, with a feint red glow in them. They seem to be depleted bloodstones. The man slowly walks towards the table, and gazes at the shadowy figures standing around the table. There are five of them. All shrouded by the shadow inside the chapel, they are barely seen. However from the silhouets the man could make out they were not just Acolytes or couriers or so. He saw spikes, heavy equipment and blades in the shadows. Death Knights. They were here personally this time.

"Did you complete the first phase of the plan?" , a dark, strong yet high sounding voice responded. Almost like a nail scratching over a board. The voice would send shivers down any mortal's spine. The voice came from the figure standing opposite of the man. The man hestitated to answer for some reason. Did you, Baron Baerdon? Baerdon looked up. Yes. Here is all the information from Xariandra's work. Baerdon took some scrolls out of his pouch, and lied them onto the dark table. He unfolded one, and what was written on it seemed like a list of organisations and guilds. All the known ones were on it, Stormwind Militia, Echoes of Lordaeron, Silverwing Outrunners, etc... and some were scratched out, in a bloody color.

A few days later, somewhere underneath Raven Hill.

Baerdon is standing a bit away from one of the tables filled with all kinds of alchemy materials, vials, potions, etc... at the table, a woman in dark purple robes and hood is standing, seemingly finishing a new elixir. A few other cultists are standing around aswell, looking eagerly, as if something new is about to be revealed. Niae then turns around, a rather small vial with a dark green fluid in it. "It is done, my lord, my work the last few weeks has paid off.", the Warlock spoke with a quite "blurry" voice, as if she had been inhaling toxins for a month. Baerdon quickly turned his gaze towards the vial, and examines it for a bit. "So... I assume we need a test subject now to test it on, Niae?" Niae simply nodded. Baerdon looked behind him and snipped his fingers. Almost instantly, two more Cultists came out of a nearby hallway, carrying a woman, looking quite beaten and weakened. They brought her to a nearby wooden table, with ties and chains attached to it, clearly designed for experimenting or torture. They lay her down on it and immediatly tied her up. Just as they are done, the woman opens her eyes and looks confused around. Her clothes are also ripped apart, so much, she is basicly half-naked. Wounds are all over her body and face, leaving little of herself to recognise. "Where... where am I?... what.. are you.. d-doing to me?.." came out of the woman weakly. Then she lay her head backwards and didn't bother struggling or talking. She knew her situation was hopeless.

Now, the experiment was about to begin. While Baerdon simply stood at the very same place he had been standing the entire time, Niae went to the woman with the vial, put her other hand at her mouth, forcing it open, then poured the entire content of the vial in, and waited for her to swallow. And so she did. Niae stepped back, and she, Baerdon and the Cultists simply looked at the woman, awaiting reaction. Then, it started. The woman started moaning loudly, clearing being in heavy agony, her skin started sweating heavily, then her very flesh seemed to be... boiling! Her entire body was seemingly transforming, and she tried struggling as hard as she could against the terrible agony, until she suddenly lost all her power and fell back against her table, and an ice cold silence followed. Everyone simply kept staring at her. Then, movement jumped into her again. She very lightly moved a bit, then stopped again. "It is done, untie her." Baerdon suddenly said. A few cultits moved forward and untied the woman, and stepped back from her. She immediatly stood up, and got onto her feet. Baerdon then talked again. "How are you... feeling?" The woman looked at him, with eyes looking almost beggingly. "W-what.. have y-you.. d-done to me.. so much.. must... s-serve.. Baerdon nodded with a satisfied smile. Perfect... plan B has been set up.

(( What the elixir exactly is will be revealed in a while during Ingame RP. We are planning something quite big, having had all that time to experiment peacefully with all attention turned on the Forsaken. This story is based entirely on in-game happenings, and I'm writing the second part already. ))
